Patients are able to leave us comments and feedback while waiting to see a clinician; we also collect reviews and comments from the NHS website (formerly NHS Choices), greetings cards and hand written letters.
We read and keep all comments (both positive and negative) and share them with all of the staff.
Here are some comments we have received from the October 2023 Friends and Family Test.
- Surgery has definitely improved in the last 12 months.
- Superb staff both nurse and dispensary, always a pleasure to visit.
- Receptionist was helpful. My appointment was on time. The nurse was very informative and lovely.
- From the Receptionist to the two different practitioners – they were all very friendly and welcoming and informed me of the procedures and any possible follow up and advice regarding any side effects. I found my first experience at Billesdon Surgery to be very positive.
- The empathy and skills demonstrated by the doctors and nursing staff is exemplary. The admin team are also extremely helpful with the numerous requests I have made since my diagnosis. The Billesdon team are amazing.
- The reception staff very, very helpful and the nurse was brilliant too.
- Reception staff were good, nurse was excellent, was seen on time.
- I was able to get an appointment with the nurse I requested who was efficient, friendly. The Bushby branch receptionist was also friendly and helpful.
- The nurse was very professional, she explained all the procedures very well and never once belittled me.
- It was for a smear test. The nurse made me feel relaxed and at ease which is not something I’ve ever experienced in nearly 20 years of smear tests! She was excellent, friendly, professional and gentle.
- I was made to feel extremely comfortable from the nurse. I was very nervous but she reassured me greatly and made me feel at ease during my first smear test. She is a great asset to your team and I thank her for making the experience a lot more comfortable than I had imagined! The smear itself was not as bad as I thought and I think this is because of how thoughtful and experienced the nurse is! Thank you.
- The HCA who did my annual check was very professional and explained everything thoroughly. I checked in on the new system which was efficient and waited for a very short time before being called by the HCA. I was impressed.
- Efficient method of booking in, didn’t wait long, very personable nurse who made me feel at ease and answered my questions. I couldn’t ask for better. I also like the fact that you ask for feedback.
- Excellent service, was really very well looked after by the nurse I saw. Dr Peter’s has been also extremely professional and very very good.
- Dr Burton listened, recommended a course of action immediately and as always was very reassuring.
- Dr Wardle is especially a very good GP. Understanding and a good listener. Nurses are very pleasant and sympathetic.
