Booking a GP Appointment

If you do not feel that any of the above services are appropriate and your medical problem is more complex, please arrange to speak with one our GP’s.

On weekday mornings we offer on the day telephone appointments. Book by calling reception on 0116 2596206 at 8am. We have 20 queue positions, if your call is outside this number you will hear an engaged tone; we apologise for this and ask you to please try again later. If all of the GP appointments are taken, our reception staff will help to signpost you to another local service.

Once your telephone appointment is booked, please stay by your phone as the GP will try to call you twice only before 12pm. You should also be available to attend the surgery in the morning before 12pm as a GP face-face review may be required. If you miss your telephone appointment you’ll need to book another appointment by calling at 8am the following day.

On weekday afternoons we provide pre-bookable face-to-face appointments. These are primarily available using the online booking service via the NHS or SystmOnline apps.

Click here for details about the online services available to you.

Please be reassured that we always have an on-call doctor available Monday to Friday until 6.30pm if you require urgent medical advice.
